Cretan Duck in Traditional Cretan Attire...

The famous Cretan costume is still worn in some Cretan villages as everyday clothing for men. "Stivania," the white boots that complete the costume. The traditional costume was richly embroidered in dark blue or black and always included a silver knife and a scarf. One of the favorite accessories of Cretan folk clothing is the knife, which adds truly authentic features.
