Duck Spartaite king Leonidas

The name of Léonidas translates from the ancient Greek language to signify "son of the lion". Léonidas, the legendary warrior king of Sparta, and the battle of thermopyles is one of the most brilliant events in the history of ancient Greece, a great act of courage and self -denial.

Costume, sword and helmet of the Leonidas duck, are replicas of the armor carried by the heroes during the battles.
